if you're leaving the RAC and the weather outside isn't so nice, you can take the tunnel from Sondheim to the Biology building and go from there

of the environment that accepts everyone's individuality and its proximity to home.

My advice to prospective students...

take advantage of what UMBC has to offer! There are many resources and activities on campus.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

My favorite local store is Walmart, but only the one on Washington Blvd. It is not far from campus and is surrounded by restaurants, a nail salon, and Dollar Tree. Whether it is early in the day or late at night, my friends and I never hesitate to take a "trip" to Walmart.
