How has UMBC helped you grow?

I've grown mentally by just hearing about all the wonderful things other UMBC students have done so I know I have the same potential.

My advice to prospective students...

is remember to stay focused and don't lose sight of the reason you're here. Also, UMBC has a TON of resources and opportunities from tutoring to research to professors to student support groups... it's all here for you so please please pretty please use them.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

It's not a shop or restaurant however it's a nice spot if you want to enjoy a nature walk. Patapsco State Park is a place you must take advantage of, there's a bunch of surprises you'll encounter if you explore.

I chose UMBC because...

I knew I could be the most successful at this school for my major. This is THE school for Computer sScience majors. It may get difficult but I know I'm getting the best education for what I want to do in life. I'm very pleased with my decision of attending UMBC because the people care here, the students and staff, we care about our education and we care about each other.
