What makes UMBC home?

This community is welcoming and highly versatile for a college campus. It's not too big yet still provides a myriad of activities to keep you busy. Not having communal bathrooms in all residential halls is also a plus!

How has UMBC helped you grow?

At UMBC, I have had the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and assume leadership roles on campus. This has helped me become more outgoing.

Favorite Spot on Campus

Though it's not the most comfortable, the wooden stairs in the Commons is a good place to do work. There are many outlets for electronics and it is a bright open space.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

Dr. Carolyn Forestiere is one of the brightest, most dedicated professors I have met thus far. She piqued my interest in a subject I had never enjoyed learning about before.
