Favorite Class or Professor and Why

The History of Medicine with Dr. Chapin. I enjoyed how even though it was a History course, the class was filled with people from majors such as Biology and Computer Science. Sharing a class with students of other majors helped to see other perspectives about History.

My UMBC hack is...

to get to class an hour early. I'm a commuter and in order to find a parking spot, I like to leave an hour before my class starts to give myself time to park and then time to walk to class.

What makes UMBC home?

The UMBC community. Being on campus with my friends and studying together as well as participating in campus events like homecoming brings all of the students together.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

Plaza Artist Materials and Picture Framing in downtown Baltimore City. If you take any visual arts courses, Plaza Artist Materials is the place to go to get well- priced art supplies and they have a wide variety of materials.
