How has UMBC helped you grow?

UMBC has given me more confidence. When I worked our summer orientation program, the professional staff helped me to develop my leadership skills which I then transferred over to the classroom. Now I can speak in front of crowds with confidence.

What makes UMBC home?

The UMBC community. Being on campus with my friends and studying together as well as participating in campus events like homecoming brings all of the students together.

Favorite Spot on Campus

Starbucks on Academic Row. It's a central spot where I can recharge with coffee and meet up with my friends.
