Favorite Class or Professor and Why

The History of Medicine with Dr. Chapin. I enjoyed how even though it was a History course, the class was filled with people from majors such as Biology and Computer Science. Sharing a class with students of other majors helped to see other perspectives about History.

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

working our summer orientation programs. I made life long friends with my fellow coworkers and was able to help new students get excited about coming to UMBC.

How has UMBC helped you grow?

UMBC has given me more confidence. When I worked our summer orientation program, the professional staff helped me to develop my leadership skills which I then transferred over to the classroom. Now I can speak in front of crowds with confidence.

I once tried to feed a llama at a nature preserve and the llama stole my entire feed bag.
