Favorite Spot on Campus

Sitting outside of the Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building (ILSB), our newest building. Sitting outside on the tables with a light breeze and a perfect view of the Quad, Academic Row and The Commons makes me feel like UMBC is my perfect home.

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

going to a university faculty member to seek more information regarding a club I was interested in. They told me it was no longer a formal club, then said "but we can make it one". Within a few weeks, I had become the president of a running club, my first semester at UMBC (all thanks to a dedicated faculty member)!

How has UMBC helped you grow?

UMBC has challenged me academically and provided me countless resources at all times. This taught me how to accept challenges, manage my time and learn how to use my resources.
