What makes UMBC home?

Definitely the people. The friends I've made through classes and clubs as well as all of the faculty and staff I've met during my time here really make me feel welcome and at home.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The chairs and tables on the first floor of The Commons. The sun shines through the windows and skylights really nicely there.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

Hands down Ms. Bonny Tighe. I've had her for Calculus II and Math for Elementary Teachers courses, so I feel confident in saying she's one of the best professors out there. Ms. Tighe really does care about the success of her students, and she wants them to understand what they're learning and what's important about it. She's definitely made a difference on my entire academic career :)
