My advice to prospective students...

The classic "don't be afraid to get involved" advice is actually good advice. Go out and find people that like similar things as you and have fun.

My favorite spot on campus is the Benches on the Knoll or Pig Pen Pond.

My UMBC hack is...

Go by way of the tennis courts when walking to Pig Pen Pond, it's the fastest route. The benches on the Knoll also have journals under them that are fun to read.
