How to get involved on campus! It was really scary for me to come to UMBC as most of my friends had gone to other institutions, so it was hard for me to meet new people. As I got more involved on campus, I met many people and made loads of new friends, and I gained all sorts of new experiences through my activities here!

How has UMBC helped you grow?

Here at UMBC, I have had the chance to interact with people of various backgrounds and make so many new connections that I treasure deeply. As I learn more through my classes and those around me, I continue to grow and change for the better.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

The Taste Tea right across Oca Mocha! Such a great spot with loads of options. Highly recommend it!

My house was haunted growing up! It still is... Very spooky!
