How has UMBC helped you grow?

I got the opportunity to really step out of my comfort zone and try lots of new activities to develop my interests. Now I am much better at connecting with people and making decisions for myself.

The campus squirrels primarily feed on Chick-Fil-A sauce packets.

My advice to prospective students...

this is a fresh start, so make sure you learn from the mistakes you made in high school. I regretted not being very involved in high school so when I started at UMBC I made sure to say yes to every opportunity available.

I chose UMBC because...

I wanted to go to a small school and a place with lots of resources for pre-health students.
