How has UMBC helped you grow?

I came in to UMBC thinking I knew exactly what I wanted and was only here to get my degree and get out. Since having to take my GEPs I realized the major I came in with was not my forever home and switching was not as scary as I thought it would be.

I chose UMBC because...

It was closer to home and had the programs I wanted. I wasn't dead set on the school when I applied but I am happy to say my forever home!
