talk to people! The more connections you make the better your UMBC experience will be, from making new friends and memories to getting useful opportunities along your career path!
My advice to prospective students...
is to try new things!! You don't really know if you'll like something until you experience it. Plus it's better to take the risk and maybe find a new passion or meet new friends.
Favorite Spot on Campus
The Commons in the morning is surprisingly quiet and peaceful and it's one of my favorite spots to study before it gets busier during lunch.
