What makes UMBC home?

UMBC has felt like home from the second I stepped foot on campus for orientation. Everything about the campus feel is so comfortable. Especially the fact that I always see someone I know when I walk across campus, I never feel alone.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

Taste Tea (a bubble tea place right off campus) is always a good place to hang out with friends. You can even walk there!

I chose UMBC because...

when I stepped on campus for orientation it just felt like home. I also wanted to stay in-state while being far enough from home that it made sense to live on campus.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The second floor of the library or Starbucks because I love to have some background noise when I study. You can always find me sitting in one of these spots.
