Favorite Spot on Campus

There are these big windows with benches on the first floor of the library. During the week, it’s too loud to actually study there but on the weekends, it’s a beautiful place to see a lot of campus and get a ton of natural sunlight. I could sit there for hours.

During my first semester, I wish I would have known...

that there is more to college than just studying and I should allow myself to find opportunities. I used to stay in my room a lot either doing homework or watching Netflix. I wish I had known sooner that I would find my place on campus.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

There is this Chinese restaurant 10 minutes away from campus called Little Phoenix. It is so good!!! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had!

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

STRiVE, which is a leadership retreat that people can go to during winter break. It was so great to meet new people who have different views about life than me. I was able to make new friends and allow myself to be vulnerable in able to learn more about myself. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
