There is this Chinese restaurant 10 minutes away from campus called Little Phoenix. It is so good!!! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had!
There are these big windows with benches on the first floor of the library. During the week, it’s too loud to actually study there but on the weekends, it’s a beautiful place to see a lot of campus and get a ton of natural sunlight. I could sit there for hours.
Debating America, which was a first-year seminar where we learned about the origins of political ideologies and how they affected American thought and policy. It was very interesting to learn why people believe certain ideologies!
The people. Everyone comes together to help one another out and it’s so great to see and experience. UMBC wouldn’t be so great without the students and staff that make it special.
