My favorite class was the Linehan Scholars Program Freshman Seminar taught by Douglas Hamby which exposed the class to different art forms than our own.
participating in Alternative Spring Break with the Center for Democracy and Civic Life. Service has always been important to me but this program taught me how service could intersect with research and that revelation changed my career trajectory.
UMBC is home because of the kindness that people demonstrate for one another.
My fun fact is that I have a sugar addiction and add it to everything.
