The outdoor patio near the Chemistry Building. It's a quiet place and I spent a lot of time there the summer after my sophomore year.

I chose UMBC because...

I knew UMBC had a good science program, and going into that field I thought I'd be able to learn a lot, but I also like seeing all the concerts and shows the art department puts on on campus too.

My advice to prospective students...

is don't be afraid to talk to professors. I have reached out to several different professors whether it was for class or potential career options.
