How has UMBC helped you grow?

Getting involved on camps with jobs and clubs has helped me to work with so many different people and get to know different perspectives and learn from them.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The outdoor patio near the Chemistry Building. It's a quiet place and I spent a lot of time there the summer after my sophomore year.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

OCA Mocha. It's walking distance from the campus, but there are free shuttles that stop in front of it.

I chose UMBC because...

I knew UMBC had a good science program, and going into that field I thought I'd be able to learn a lot, but I also like seeing all the concerts and shows the art department puts on on campus too.
