Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

Recently I've taken a liking to Maggiano's. They're doing a take-home $5 pasta deal so I can stock up on pasta meals in my apartment. 🍝

What makes UMBC home?

The people/community and the environment. Being a smaller school, I often run into people I've met through classes, clubs, etc. It's nice knowing that I'm not surrounded by complete strangers, and that some of those strangers may become my friends someday!

My UMBC hack is...

Long line at Starbucks/Chic-fil-a and you have time? Hang out at one of the tables to catch up on schoolwork or other stuff. That way, waiting for the lines to get shorter won't feel as long!

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

Joining the fencing team! I've made a lot of close friends through it and it has helped me be more involved with both the school and meeting my peers.
