Favorite Class or Professor and Why

American Studies with Kathy Brian. She is extremely kind and educated. She created a safe space in her class where students can share any opinion, question, or concern. My favorite part of her class was the books we got to read because it truly opened my eyes to social injustices in the U.S.

How has UMBC helped you grow?

All the people that I have meet at UMBC have pushed me outside of my comfort zone which forced me to do things I usually would not do and made me learn more about myself.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

Atwaters and Sushi Q.

My UMBC hack is...

wait out the lunch and dinner rush because the lines die down in under 25 minutes, so just be patient.
