My favorite professor that I've had at UMBC is John Borrero in the Psychology Department. He's incredibly personable, friendly, and his lectures are always engaging. He always made an effort to strike up conversation and get to know you as a student, which I greatly appreciated in my first year on campus.
That you're going to make mistakes, but owning up to and learning from them is how you grow as a person!
The diverse, inclusive culture drew me in, and the amazing academic and athletic opportunities I've been presented with have made me stay!
