What makes UMBC home?

All the faculty and staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with have an incredible point of view on UMBC and spirit. The student body is very diverse which has open my mind to all types of people and I have enjoyed meeting new people that have different backgrounds than myself.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The library pond is one of my favorite places to sit and relax when it is nice and sunny outside when I have some time free time.

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

the summer leading up to the start of my freshman year, I attended the commuter retreat and I met one of my closest friends. Also, the UMBC students that were leading the retreat were incredibly welcoming and genuine. It left a very large impression on me and it allowed me to gain more confidence about shaping my college experience into a positive and successful one.
