My advice to prospective students...

is remember to keep an open mind about everything as well as everyone. Seek out opportunities that spark your interest. Also, do not be afraid to turn to the person next to you in class and introduce yourself.

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

Pho Saigon is one of my favorites. They even give a discount to UMBC students (on a certain day) when you show your student ID.

My UMBC hack is...

if you are commuting, the sweet spots for parking are between 10 am and 11 am as well as 2 pm and 3 pm. Parking is a bit complicated and difficult between 9 am and 12 pm.

What makes UMBC home?

All the faculty and staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with have an incredible point of view on UMBC and spirit. The student body is very diverse which has open my mind to all types of people and I have enjoyed meeting new people that have different backgrounds than myself.
