the places in commons have really good food. It took me a month to realize that they were a part of the meal plan and that there are so many options.

What makes UMBC home?

The people. Being able to hang out with my friends every day makes campus feel like home.

How has UMBC helped you grow?

I have opened up more. I am not as afraid to start conversations with new people and I feel like I can be myself.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

Thus far my favorite class has been my Introduction to Aging class. It has helped me learn so much about the way todays society treats elders and it has changed my perspective. I can't wait to take another aging class.
