During my first semester, I wish I would have known...

That it's not hard going to the Academic Success Center and there's no pressure to go but the people there can and WILL really help you out.

I chose UMBC because...

I felt like it was close enough to home that I could be close to family but also have my college experience on my own. I also felt like it wasn't so big of a school that I would get swallowed up and lost in everything.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

Robert Anderson- He makes sure the class is engaging with all his personal stories and humor. He also makes sure we learn things as students and aren't left behind when learning new topics.
