My advice to prospective students...

Use the resources that the campus has to offer. Whether it be the Writing Center for your paper, the Career Center to plan out your future, the Women's Center, and the Center For Well Being.

Favorite Spot on Campus

The tables at Commons under where they hang up the country flags is where you can find lots of different friend groups hanging out, eating, and studying together. I've connected with people from so many different cultures, and all clubs on campus will welcome anyone regardless of their background.

During my first semester, I wish I would have known...

...that many student organizations and clubs do not require a formal sign up. If you hear about an event, just show up and you'll be able to make friends easily!

Favorite Local Shop or Restaurant

BeSeTo in Catonsville. "Be" as in "Beijing", "Se" as in "Seoul", and "To" as in "Tokyo", it's a really great East-Asian food court nearby that you can even get to by taking UMBC Transit!
