I chose UMBC because...
I felt surrounded by like minded individuals that shared my interests and hobbies.
My UMBC hack is...
to email professors of classes you want to take and ask for their syllabus so you can get a feel for the professor and the class.
During my first semester, I wish I would have known...
how important it was to meet new people at the freshman welcome events.
What makes UMBC home?
The welcoming community makes UMBC always feel like home, especially after a long day of classes or right after big exams.
