utilizing the sky bridges on campus when it's really cold, hot, or especially when it's raining. They connect a lot of the buildings on the main level of Academic Row and provide an easy way to stay out of the elements when walking to and from class.
I wanted to pursue a degree in Computer Science, potentially focusing on Cybersecurity. My stepfather's brother, who works at John's Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, told me how good UMBC's Computer Science program is.
It's definitely broken me out of my introverted shell but in a comfortable way. I've been able to partake in some great opportunities, such as being a Resident Assistant and being in the Cyber Dawgs club. It's enabled me to sharpen my skills in my field and meet a lot of people along the way.
Fireside Lounge. It's on the third floor of The Commons and has some very cozy chairs while encouraging a quiet studying environment.
