What makes UMBC home?

My friends! Not only does UMBC have a welcoming environment, I have made amazing best friends and acquaintances who make UMBC feel safe and feel like home.

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

Study Abroad. From narrowing down where I wanted to go, to applying (with the Education Abroad office) and finally going, the entire experience was challenging and incredibly rewarding. I am privileged to have been able to study abroad and am grateful for the help I received while at home and abroad.

Fun Fact

I was so close to testing for the 5th Kyu belt in Aikido, but COVID derailed those plans. I hope to test for the belt this coming spring!
