My most memorable UMBC experience was...

Move in day. My roommate and I were instantly best friends and I love my suite mates. It was such a fun and exciting day!

What makes UMBC home?

The people. It sounds cheesy but, honestly, no place becomes your home until you find your people. Without the people here to make UMBC what it truly is, it is just a set of buildings. The students are so connected and supportive. Staff and administrators are understanding and inclusive. It is just an incredible environment to be in.

My UMBC hack is...

Go to Chick Fil A in between when classes let out. Classes let out at 00, 15, 30, and 45 of each hour, go in between the times and there will be no line there!

During my first semester, I wish I would have known...

You do not have to do everything possible in order to be successful! Take on what you can and that is enough. Don’t overload yourself with extra stuff.
