My advice to prospective students...

is college can be a lot of fun but has a lot of distractions so it's important to balance the fun stuff with the work you need to do for your classes.

after my first class of the day, I would sometimes walk with a friend to their next class and this always put me in such a good mood.

I chose UMBC because...

UMBC is a perfect size and has a real sense of community in that the people at UMBC are fun, friendly, and driven to succeed.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

Greek Mythology with Dr. Phin. This was my favorite class because as you read myths you'll begin to realize that many tropes/ plot structures have their origins in myths.
