I once went to the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea a few months after North Korea sunk a South Korean fishing vessel when I was still in elementary school.

How has UMBC helped you grow?

I've been able to get to know my strengths and weaknesses in social situations, learning situations, and in general, because this is the first time I've been pretty much on my own for the last few years.
