UMBC has provided me with job opportunities and academic resources that have allowed me to pursue my interests. I'm sure that the knowledge and skills that I have gained will help me far into the future.

The people and the environment. Since its so welcoming here, you can really be yourself.

My advice to prospective students...

is don't forget to take care of yourself! Take breaks, go on a walk, and eat well!

it was in a great location. I have family near here so I could be near them while I go to college.
