Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite spot on campus is probably the Commons. I really like how it is a shared meeting space for so many students, it's a great place to socialize, and the food choices are my favorite.

My advice to prospective students...

stay true to yourself and really find your place. It took me awhile to really find my people on campus, and times can get difficult with the way college is, but just keep being you and the right people will come.

I chose UMBC because...

it was a school that was closer to my home and everyone I care about, I was able to easily double major in both areas I am most interested in, and I just liked how friendly everybody on campus was to me, even when I was touring.

What makes UMBC home?

Everywhere you go on campus, everybody is friendly. People will stop to talk to you, everybody is supportive of one another, and overall, the vibes as you go around is calm and inviting.
